I'm going to be in Williamsburg, VA, this week for the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival. My sisters-in-law and I will be quilting up a storm at a time-share, and we'll be enjoying the show (read: drooling over quilts and spending far too much money on fabric) from Thursday through Sunday.
I don't believe the time-share has broadband, and I'm too much of a snob to get some free dial-up. Plus, I have several projects that I really need to finish or make serious progress on.
I will have my cell phone, however, so I'm planning on doing a fair amount of moblogging. I don't know what the lighting situation will be at the Hampton Colusseum (this is the first time the show will be held there), but I suspect that it will be far better than the previous location!
So, I'm off to pack my Explorer chock-full of stuff that I intend to work on, along with my sewing machine, my iron and ironing board, all my supplies, perhaps some extra fabric - just in case, oh, and I need to get my cutting mat and some rulers, plus don't forget the roatary cutters... And scissors! Don't forget them... Then I need to remember my marking pencils, and my pins, extra needles (will I need to buy more? No, probably not, but....) Thread. Where's my thread? Oh, here it is, now what about my bobbins? OK, got them, and here's my travelling sewing table, need that for sure, How about that book with the star pattern quilt? There it is, oh, and I'll need this one, too, and these magazines for those patterns I wanted to try....
You see it can be a rather involved process....
... No! Not that fabric....!
