What are the Ladies up to today?
Well, I feel like doing a couple of round-up posts, and I'm going to start with the Ladies of the Cotillion. Lots of wonderful, interesting and snarky stuff!
Kathy, over at Cake Eater Chronicles is fascinated with the "reasoning" behind Iran's President's suggestion to have a Jewish state created in Europe. She says:
There are times when I wonder if the Iranians voted him in as president just because they knew he'd piss off all the right people and they'd be liberated that much more quickly. {category: snark ... execution: BRILLIANT!}
Darleen (you know, the lady that did the lovely photoshop up in my top left corner?) is having trouble with telemarketers. I must sympathize; I think they're awfully close in the Kingdom of Scum to lawyers and politicians...
Florida Cracker reviews the latest BarneyCam from the White House. I'd say that it's rather harsh, but I don't believe it's up yet. What, Cracker's got some inside connections?!
Attila is packing... and panicking! But, c'mon! She's going to Hawaii (wench! I'm jealous!)!
Merri reminds us that there are monsters out there who hurt children.
The injured child is six-months of age and as of the last report is still in critical condition.
I've got to say that if what is speculated is true, and she harmed the six month old, the fact that she would LIE and try to pin it on a toddler seemingly would reflect the depth of her evil, vile character. {category: outrage ... reaction: HORROR}
Indeed... It is a source of shocked amazement and disgust to me, that anyone would injure a child like this. Let's pray that the little one heals and is placed in a good and loving home!
Atlas posts a very informative letter from a soldier, which discusses our weaponry as well as what the terrorists use.
Fun fact: Captured enemy have apparently marveled at the marksmanship of our guys and how hard they fight. They are apparently told in Jihad school that the Americans rely solely on technology, and can be easily beaten in close quarters combat for their lack of toughness. Let's just say they know better now. {category: interesting ... quality: EXCELLENT!}
It's long, but very much worth it!
Beth does a round-up of her own, and lets us know of some bloggers who need help - as well as an excellent list of deserving blogs in the Weblog Awards finals. Make sure you check out her recommendations!
Finally (for now, anyway), the other Beth (or is Beth the other Beth? Who's who? I'm confused, LOL...) predicts that someone is going to have coal in their stocking this year... I agree, but I think it may be a life-sentence. Talk about being a Scrooge!
At any rate, that's what caught my eye this morning with the Ladies. I'm sure as the day goes on they'll post LOTS more interesting stuff, so make sure you check out the Cotillion blogroll on my right sidebar. And, if any Ladies would like some linky-luv to stuff I didn't link, drop me a line and I'll add you on!
Have a wonderful weekend, Ladies!

Yeah, it's up. It's on the right-hand side of the whitehouse.gov page.
