You are soooooo effin' right! Since your visit, I've had to spend tons of money just taking care of rudimentary stuff, and each "rudimentary" thing seems to lead to a dozen other "rudimentary" things. It's like the house is a partner in my checking account, LOL.

Every time I think I see light at the end of the tunnel, I learn that I haven't even REACHED the damn tunnel yet.

Your comment about the Pergo reminded me to finish up my comparisons of laminated flooring. So far, I've been most drawn to Balterio (some interesting technical twists in construction/installation) and I wanna nail down what our choice for the livingroom floor is before mid-summer...
