New responsibilities
Well, Chad Dotson has very graciously allowed me to take over the organization of the Virginia Blog Carnival, and it's an honor I deeply appreciate.
Some of the changes I'm going to make are, first of all, a central site (also linked above) which will hold the schedule of upcoming hosts and any themes which may apply to the Carnival for a particular week; and second, a new e-mail for submissions to the Carnival. I've already e-mailed Bruce at the Conservative Cat, so the proper e-mail should be attached to the Carnival Submit Form as soon as he gets to it.
This Monday, Doug at Below the Beltway will be hosting the Carnival, and Alton has graciously stepped up for the following week (the 17th).
I would like to ask other Virginia bloggers to contact me (either romeokat -at- gmail -dot- com or at vablogcarnival -at- gmail -dot- com) if they'd like to host.
And finally - it took me about a week, but finally! - I've got my Fourth of July post recorded, as Alton had requested.
So, Alton, dear blog-brother, here ya go! (mp3 file)
