My country is turning into *spit* fwance *spit*

At least, the politicians in Washington are showing their kinship with the fwench surrender-monkeys.

I can't believe it. America used to be a strong, confident country, full of "can do!" attitude and determination. Now, we hobble our Army's feet, glorify criminals, and encourage our children to be passive. We have lost the independence of spirit and the gut-deep perseverance of our fore-fathers. We scorn the honor and courage they displayed, and shame them with the stains on the integrity of this country. We have turned away from their steadfast example, and listen instead to false prophets who cry out, "Peace! Peace!" when THERE IS NO PEACE!

I think that even JFK (the real one, not the fwench one currently serving in the Senate) is spinning in his grave! The man who faced down Moscow during the Cuban Missile Crisis would surely be deeply ashamed at the cowardice his party showed in the House and Senate yesterday.

And notice that Virginia's senior senator, for all that he is a RINO, voted to do the right thing. Our junior senator, James "Born Fighting" Webb, however, voted to cut and run. "Born Fighting"? Bah. "Born Fighting" for power and influence, perhaps, but not for our troops, not for his constituents, and not for our country's safety, security and honor.

The perfidy and duplicity of their actions is clearly outlined over at Let Freedom Ring. Ah, that we have fallen so far, that we have elected such "leaders"!

Michelle Malkin suggests we send these cowards a white feather to show our scorn for their faintheartedness and their selfish and dastardly actions. GM agrees, as does Chrys at Pettifog, among others (make sure you check links and trackbacks!).

Cowards. Cowards and abominations, to smear the courage and honor of this country so! Cowards and oathbreakers, to want to abandon those who are so desperately in need of our help! Cowards and traitors, to encourage and aid our enemies in such an underhanded way in a time of war!

Cowards and backstabbers to do this to our courageous troops!

The blood of our armed forces, the blood of Iraqi citizens, and the blood of our murdered citizens is on their hands.

And may God have mercy on their souls, for they will surely answer to Him for thier actions.

Bend over, citizens. Here it comes. Soon America will be just like everyone else: pandering to murderers, cowering before terrorists, and appeasing blackmailers. Our daughters will be wearing burkas, our sons will be encouraged to slay innocents to gain paradise, and anyone who dares object will be scourged or killed for slandering Mohammed-How's-the-Weather-in-Hell-You-Monster.

God help us!
