Sir, you are no gentleman. You need to really sit down and think about readjusting your moral compass before your own actions bring you to complete ruin.

Riley over at Virginia Virtucon posts Joe-the-Jerk's pseudo defense. Note this paragraph:

If you will recall, I told you then that you should make note of the date and time you said that to me. I am more than prepared for any fight the ODBA wants to have. Fortunately, our conversation turned a corner and before our call ended, I had redirected the domain to google.com.

Interesting. Riley's post about the call was dated the 21st of August. So, if you fixed the redirect "before [your] call ended," why was the redirect there for pretty much all of yesterday, hmmm?

Liar. And not just a liar, but a stupid liar.

Ward has a list of your political clients - do any of them really want to associate themselves with a proven liar, a lowlife, and a petulant little prick like you (sorry, Mom)?

You idiot, you don't even have enough character in your corpulent sack of skin to even give a proper admission of guilt! Yeah, yeah, you've got profound ideological and procedural disagreements with some members of the ODBA. But, instead of targeting them in an open and honorable fight, matching policies and candidates against each other, you decide to smear all of us without regard.

I'm a proud wife and mother. I am a Christian. I, personally, have done my best to post as honestly as I know how, and refrain as much as I can from personal attacks. I have been a voice of quiet and moderation in the background many of the political tussles in which the ODBA has been involved.

And YOU...! You associated MY NAME with the smut and cesspool that is that abominable group, simply because you had nothing to bring to the table by way of intelligent ideas and honorable candidates.

Well, you wankering little whoreson ... (UPDATE - it has been brought to my attention that Joey's Mom is dead and certainly does not deserve this slur on her character, and therefore I retract and apologize for this insult) ... Joey you jerk-off little jackass (and now we return to our former rant) my vocabulary has pretty much reached its limit for what I'm willing to post here. But don't you ever bloody well show your scabrous face in my presence you little maggot, because I will take great delight in spitting in your lying eyes.

This... pissant lacks discernment, wit, intelligence, finesse, and a sense of proportion. He attempted to use a nuclear bomb to take out the perceived "threat" (and since when is debate about ideas and policies threatening in this country?!), when he would have been better served by a sharpshooter.

Of course, he *is* hampered by the fact that his quiver is empty, and his bowstring is rotten, but the solution to that would be to clean things up in his OWN house and support better candidates and opinions.

Sometimes we have to release the anger and vented up feelings. It's good for our souls, even though it might make some of us feel shame and/or guilt. I am pretty sure God understands it all, too.

Anger can be a good thing. Although it's emotionally draining it keeps us honest and human. I have always felt that these negative thoughts and feelings serve a purpose and here I see proof of this.

The subject at hand here is one where anger is absolutely justified. I am totally ashamed of the VA Democrats for allowing this to happen- where are they in all this? Mr. Stanley needs to GO- the Lemoncrats of VA would be smart to boot him right out of their presence and not associate with him.

What a low thing to do. Just low- even for the Dems. Unethical.

I don't see how a reasonable person could think that conservative bloggers on the Internet are in any way, shape or form, similar to NAMBLA. The ODBA is an Internet based group that exists solely because of the Internet, and works on campaigns as private citizens- not as one big ODBA group. There's not one ODBA blog, and I don't think you all get together to be like "Ok. We all are going to go to XYZ together and campaign." You coordinate, but at the end of the day, you're all private, individual citizens. NAMBLA is a group that just happens to have a website, and exists for the purpose of meeting up together as a big nasty group of nastiness to talk about nasty things. ODBA promotes legal activities. NAMBLA promotes making illegal activities legal. ODBA might irritate you, but if they seriously damage your psyche, then, well, the problem lies with you, my friends, and you might wish to seek help. NAMBLA can hurt a person physically and mentally. You'd still want to seek help, but it wouldn't be because the problem originated within your own mental state.

Seriously, how is there any analogy to be drawn here? Who even thinks "Hmmm, I'm going to play a prank on the ODBA by re-directing a website...which one should I pick... DCCC? No. A gay rights group (not a pedophilia one, just like, Equality Virginia or something)? No... too "legal." I know! NAMBLA!"

Who thinks like that? That's sick.

I agree, Genevieve. It's VERY sick. And what's even more evil is that - if you read Joey-the-Jacka**'s "confession" over at Virginia Virtucon, he <.i>didn't do it as a prank!!! He did it with malicious intent.

For the record (and I'm going to post this comment in all of my recent posts about the Joe Stanley/N@MBL@ thing):

I notice that Ben over at NLS takes issue with my use of "whoreson" and "jackass" among other words I use to describe Stanley. Originally, I used "whoreson" as an alternative to "bastard" when I saw it over at thesaurus.com. I considered it rather medieval and more original than the frequently-used "bastard."

However, when one of the other ODBA members pointed out to me that Joe's mother was deceased, I immediately came back, struck the word and apologized in each instance I used it. I honestly do not want to malign the dead. I did not completely remove it, because I felt that would be too much like "diappearing" a mistake which I believe is unethical.

I stand by "jackass" and other words, because Stanley's foul attempt to smear the ODBA deserve that condemnation in my opinion.

I do truly regret using "whoreson" in reference to Stanley, and if he wishes me to apologize to him in writing for that particular insult, I will do so willingly.
