Confirmed! CatHouse Chat will host the Carnival of Christmas!

I am honored that Adam has passed hosting duties to me this year; it is a great privilege!

So, to let you all know how we work this... Submissions will be accepted up through the 23rd of December, and I will get the Carnival posted right here at CatHouse Chat on the 24th, just in time for Christmas Eve. You can submit posts via the Blog Carnival page (recommended), or by sending them directly to my e-mail, which is over there --------> in the right column. *IF* you send your submissions to my e-mail, PLEASE put "Carnival of Christmas" in the subject line, and include your name, your blog's name and URL, and the links to your post and trackback (if you have trackbacks).

Now the baseline rule for submissions is that "the post be respectful of the Holiday and in the Spirit of Christmas cheer and kindness." So pictures, poetry, meditations, family traditions, recipes, holiday memories are all welcome - so long as they conform to that one, simple requirement. Easy, yes?

At this time I'm planning on posting ALL appropriate entries to the Carnival, but I may be a bit naïve in doing so. Please remember, therefore, that if I get a zillion submissions, I may have to restrict entries to one per person. In that case, I would suggest that you let me know which post you MOST want to be included in the Carnival.

Finally, I'm going to add a page to CatHouse Chat just for the Carnival, and you will see it in the right sidebar fairly quickly. I'll allow comments and trackbacks on that page and keep it updated with news and so on so that you have an easy link to monitor. When December 24th rolls around, that page will be replaced with the actual Carnival - so keep checking!
